Botox is a prescription medication that is injected into the bladder muscle and used:

To treat overactive bladder symptoms such as a strong need to urinate with leakage or wetting accidents; urgency and frequency in adults when another type of medication (anticholinergic) does not work well enough or cannot be taken.

To treat leakage of urine (incontinence) in adults, with over active bladder due to neurologic condition, who still have leakage or cannot tolerate the side effects after trying an anticholinergic medication.

Overactive Bladder (OAB) is a condition where the bladder contracts uncontrollably, creating leakage, the strong sudden need to “go right away” and going too often.

Botox is a recommended option to reduce daily leakage episodes.

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is an enlargement of the prostate gland affecting 50% of men between the ages of 51 and 60, and up to 90% of men over the age of 80.

This enlargement can compress the urethra, reducing the flow of urine from the bladder, and sometimes blocking it entirely.

The symptoms of BPH include:

Urinary frequency
Irregular flow
Weak Stream
Getting up at night to urinate

If you are one of the millions of men dissatisfied with current BPH treatment options, such as medications or surgery, Rezum water vapor therapy is a safe and effective new option designed to transform your BPH treatment experience.
